Personal Information Protection Policy

The Company recognizes that the appropriate handling of personal information is an important social responsibility.
The Company has set the following policy for the protection of personal information and will appropriately handle and protect all personal information including that of customers.

  • The Company will observe the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (2003 Law No. 57, hereinafter “Personal Information Projection Act”) and other laws, ordinances, instructions, and other rules, etc., regarding the protection of personal information to appropriately handle personal information.
  • The Company will appropriately handle personal information within the scope necessary for the company’s business activities. The purpose of use of personal information handled by the company shall be clarified and the Company will strive to acquire and use personal information within the scope of the purpose of use.
  • To promote the appropriate use of personal information, the Company will assign an in-house person to be responsible for the protection of personal information and also establish a personal information protection management system.
  • The Company will establish provisions, regulations, and other rules regarding the handling of personal information to promote the appropriate handling of personal information. In addition, the Company will provide education and training to employees to thoroughly inform them of the established rules.
  • To strengthen the appropriate handling of personal information, the necessary and appropriate security measures (safety management measures) will be taken to prevent unauthorized access and other information related incidents, such as destruction, leaks, and tampering. In the case an information related incident does occur, the proper measures will be taken quickly.
  • The Company has established a desk for handling checks, requests for corrections, and other inquires from individuals, including complaints, regarding their personal information and will handle such inquiries in good faith.

When Done by a Representative

If the person “requesting disclosure, etc” is the legal representative of the individual, of a minor, or of a ward that is of age or if the person has been delegated as the representative by the individual “requesting disclosure, etc,” then one of the following documents (A or B) must also be enclosed in addition to the above-mentioned documentation.


A.In the case of a legal representative
